FM175 Shaker & Animal Card

Lisa's Friday Mashup Challenge was the perfect challenge for me to finally use the stamp I carved so long ago. I had tried a few times to put a card together with the dove stamp when I first carved it but nothing seemed to work. With Lisa's challenge the card came together quickly with very little issues.

Thank you for the inspiration Lisa!!!

1.  Create a Project using "Animals".
2. Create a "Shaker card" project.

3. or Mash it up! and create a "Shaker Card with an Animal".

Are you wondering where I got the image to card the doves and hearts? Would you believe me if I told you I got it from MDS!!! Isn't that amazing! I love MDS, it can be used for more than just digital scrapbooking!

FM170 Sketch and Delft Tile Technique

I struggled with this technique in the challenge because no matter how light I stamped my image went in the grooves. I ended up taping bakers twine in the grooves while I stamped and it worked!!!

1. Create a project using the "Sketch".
2. Create a project using the "Delft Tile Technique". Tutorial here

3. or Mash it Up! and create a project using the "Sketch & Delft Tile Technique".

RS#107 Thinking of You Word Bubble

I haven't been creating with any of the challenge blogs I follow lately but as soon as I seen this sketch over at Retro Sketches I knew exactly what I wanted to create.

I have been using MDS and my Silhouette Cameo quite a bit lately and this sketch was a perfect excuse to use my Cameo.

I absolutely love the Retro Fresh colors and the negative of the thought bubble was the perfect place to use the Retro Fresh Washi tape.

Thank you Arielle for this sketch, I love it!

Stampset: Sweet Essentials
Paper: Very Vanilla, Coastal Cabana, Baked Brown Sugar
Ink: Tangerine Tango
Tools: Silhouette Cameo, MDS

FM133 Make a Wish - Painters Tape Technique

Wow, I can't believe Tuesday was the last day I posted. I even missed the Friday Mashup post. I guess it is always better late than never.

I took the inspiration for this card from Mary Fish. I believe I changed the card enough not to use the word "CASED" but either way I wanted to make sure she got credit for the original design.

The challenge from Friday Mashup was to create a project using the colors, "Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, Smokey Slate and Basic Grey" or create a project with a "Cake". I chose to "Mash it up" and do both challenges.

Follow these steps to make the background.
1. Take painters tape and with sticky side down rub it on your ink pad
2. Take the tape off and place it on your card stock.
3. Rub all over the tape to make sure the ink transfers to the cardstock
4. Peel away the painters tape and you have your background! :D

Paper: Very Vanilla, Basic Grey
Ink: Crushed Curry, Smokey Slate, Costal Cabana, Basic Grey

Morning Meadow, Sweet Essentials, Thinking of You Card

This is another card cased from a card I found on Pinterest. I see lots of cards I like on Pinterest! I have been finding cards I like and remaking them with Stampin' Up Product. This card CASE comes from a lady named Tilly, she is from Kaiwaka, New Zealand.

Thank you for the inspiration Tilly!

You can follow me HERE on pinterest.

In order to get the tree branch the way it is, I colored the stamp with markers and left out a lot of the branches and flowers.

For the tag, I used the Chalk Talk Framelits but I cut the shape down, rounded the corners on the bottom and punched a hole in the top with my Crop a Dile.

Stampset: Sweet Essentials, Morning Meadow
Paper: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Pear Pizzazz
Ink / Markers: Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green
Bigshot: Magnetic Platform, Chalk Talk Framelits
